The Yeti patrols the border to Wonderland.
   He stands two steps behind the ramp
      and curtly organizes individual crossings:
   while chatty Alice sees off the returning atomic physicists
                                cosmologists 
                                      and poets.
            Opposite: in a small blue booth: sits the Loch Ness Monster:
     who puts wet stamps in everyone's passports:
         so that they can prove to everyone:
              that they have their reasons
                for the light smile:
    which is often visible on their faces in the morning:
            and so that they can definitely feel huge
                                       for having once again
                                             let the universe spend the night inside them.
