The situation around Timmi's abandoned nest was still very dynamic. Lena had just knocked
out the already severely crippled Tereza - when another villain appeared on the scene - Bradley:
the foreman of the external fitters.
Without thinking long: he joined Oliver vehemently trying to crush Alia - who: with a
piece of cable in her hands and with the grace of a circus juggler: zigzagged between his flail-
ing fists.
I quickly carried the stunned Adam from the epicenter: and just as Carlos tipped the
scales dangerously to the side of the demons again: I smoothly inserted myself into the action.
Then bald mechanical engineer Simon: jumped out from among the crates - and the murderous
effort concentrating around the Hydron captain once again took a breakneck speed.
We formed into a shield position: with me and Lena on the wings: and Alia in the middle -
and after a few minutes of hard fighting: we managed to move to the corner. We strengthened the
defense: but got into a trap.
Carlos and Bradley merged into a synchronized battle monster: and showered me with a rain
of precise attacks.
I felt the lack of limbs.
In one long eventful second: I insufficiently deflected Carlos' elbow - and his
straightened fingers scratched Alia's left cheek.
Blood trickled down her jaw.
Something cruel and cold took hold of my body: grabbed Carlos by the hair: forced him to
look into my eyes: and poured into him.
He crouched down: tackled Bradley to the ground: bit off a large chunk of material from
his neck - and - in two wild movements: ripped his head off.
Time has stopped.
"Good morning:" said Carlos and wiped his smiling mouth.
Alia wrapped the cable around the Simon's throat: and swung her arms steeply with a rabid
scream.
He knelt down and hit the floor with his forehead just in the moment when mine and Lena's
heel: lifted Oliver into the air: and sent him right into the perimeter of Carlos' soaring kick.
