The boarding ramp was hung with garlands: balloons and other flashy decorations.
Two steps beyond the pier: a blue flag with an orange inscription was strung on the railing
between two metal poles:
The door to universe is wide open - please come in
Four fully armed soldiers were trying not to succumb to the surrounding panic and prevent
entry to the ship. Several uniformed Academy cadets were persistently trying to get through them.
"I hope we can start the engines:" Robert whispered to me as we crouched down behind the
big loader.
"We'll see:" I said absently. My mind went into the fog for a moment - Peter and I were on
patrol together and made love in the captain's chair. We knew the whole ship by heart.
One of the soldiers placed the barrel of his weapon on the chest of the loudest cadet.
"The boys probably won't let us go there willingly:" said Robert.
"Idiots: we're all dead in half an hour."
I took off my hoodie: to show as much of my skin as possible: tousled my hair and smeared
blood on my tank top and face.
"You wait here sweetie. Ok?" I said to Blanca.
The knife: that I had left on the floor began to slide down. The ship shook and a crack
appeared up in the outer shell of the pier. I tucked the knife behind my back and stepped out from
behind the loader.
"Sergeant! Sergeant! I detained a terrorist!" :Butterfly yelled and put the gun to my nape.
We took a few steps forward.
"Port police: I have information about planted explosives:" Robert continued to shout.
       "Stand and drop your weapon!"
Robert dropped the gun and we raised our hands.
       "Slowly move closer!"
       We moved.
The ship suddenly dropped: the ramp buckled: the railing broke: the soldiers staggered and
one fell screaming into the space under the pier.
I ran and Robert threw himself on the ground.
The loader jumped and began to slide.
       Robert fired twice.
       Two men died.
I landed on the ramp a second before savage loader: stuck the knife in the throat of the
last soldier and sprinted as fast as I could to the entrance.
The broken ramp launched me into the air.
I flipped over: stretched out my arms: grabbed the railing and slowly pulled myself back
up.
The loader remained trapped in the rubble.
Robert: Blanca and small group of cadets and visitors climbed over its cabin to the door of
universe.
"Hi Drone:" I said when a whiff of long journeys hit my nose: "you smell the same."
I closed my eyes and headed towards the bridge.
