       One of our external reporters managed to catch up with Peter Krutek last night: just as 
he was coming out of the cosmodrome: and ask him a few quick questions:  before he disappeared
into the fog of his stories again. Among other things: we learned: that:   he loves all Alia's
films: but because: his mind is "the wilful light of insolent non-interval beacon:       which
adores glittering fragments and colored reflections"   :he mainly returns to a few of the most
beautiful scenes.
       One of them takes place near the end of the Highway:        when Mahabir looks at Veera
through the window: and the ajar door: and again cannot believe ... "that beautiful girl wants
to be with me? ... Could such a thing be true?"
