Today I saw: that you love me Bel - when you came: my shoulders took shape in your eyes
     And a moment before: you were combing your hair in the window of a lingerie store
So - if you had come to that date a hundred years ago:
     you would probably have looked into the well for a while:
         or you would have taken out the big knife: that your highlander father gave you
Yes - if you had come to that date 
                          a hundred years ago
                               at the market by the river:
                                                  maybe even then
                                                        it would be too late for us:
just like today:
          when you didn't come to the date:
