"What are you doing?" :said Adam angrily: "let her go!"
I turned at his voice. Tereza was leaning out of bed and holding Alia's neck.
"Stop!" Adam shouted: trying to pull her hand away: "stop it now!!"
Alia opened her mouth and wheezed.
Lena pushed Adam away: grabbed Tereza by the wrist: and broke her thumb.
Alia fell to the ground and gasping for breath.
A strong hit to the right flank threw me between the empty bunk beds.
Before I could come to my senses: Tim: the crane operator was beside me and rhythmically
trying to hurt me.
His famous cheerful disposition was gone. His face was expressionless.
Although I didn't feel any pain: it was highly uncomfortable for me: and his persistent
efforts were clearly aimed at putting my avatar out of commission.
I jumped to my feet: focused my attention on his incoming fists and carefully placed a
quick punch between them - right in the middle of his adorably round chin.
His head jerked back and his body went limp.
"This is how it's done Timmy:" I muttered to myself and let his body slide to the floor.
I caught a glimpse of Lena parrying Oliver and Teresa's attacks and dodged Carlos' nim-
ble knuckles.
"What is your business buddies?" :I asked him: following his empty pupils: "Hallo:
Carlito..?"
He didn't answer. Instead: he ripped a thick shelving column out of the wall.
"Ok:" I nodded: moved my left leg forward and raised my arms to shoulder height: "have
it your way.."
Carlito: or what was trying to destroy me in his body: was much faster and more dange-
rous: than what possessed Tim - and even though I managed a great series of lunges and counter-
moves: we didn't get very far: and according to the sounds coming from the other side of the
room - the girls had serious problems.
I was starting to get nervous.
With a few well-timed jabs: I hid Carlos in an empty mobile container.
"Stay:" I hissed and ran towards Alia's furious screams.
